Market News for the week of 02/06/2011
On February 3rd the Dow Jones opened at 12,705.04 and it is trading at 12,898.41 which is a gain of 193.37 points. With this gain the last 4 days the market has only moved sideways.
As I have been reading the news and watching the sectors change I have noticed that the Finance sectors have been moving up. As you Finviz and click on groups you will see what the finance sectors are doing.

Valentines Subway Art
I made this Subway Art Plaque over at http://www.poppyseedprojects.com/.
I have bought other items from this site and I always give them away as gifts. I have keep this Subway Art plaque for myself and I also hung it up in my house.
When you purchase this you get a to choose the colors that you want the board to be painted. I painted my board black then I put on a red coat of paint let it dry. Then we placed the vinyl on it and the last step is that you paint the top coat which I did a pink color.
Once it is dry then you peal off the vinyl and with sandpaper you sand the board to give it a unique look.

SuperBowl Party food
The Superbowl is all about football and eating yummy snacks!
At my house we love watching Superbowl it is the excitement to see if your team is going to win. We also love to see what funny, stupid commercials we are going to see.
I have been on Pinterest looking for some yummy Superbowl snacks!

What Indrustries are on the move
The Market has had another great week!
On January 20, 2012 the Dow opened up at 12623.93 and today the Dow is trading at 12798.13 which is an increase of 174.20 point gain for the week.
We are in the middle of earnings and Apple and Netflex reported great earning which helped the market. The fed came out and said that they are going to keep the rates low until 2014.
Now lets look at what sectors are moving. Lets take a look at finviz and once you are at this website you will click on Groups and then select from the drop down Industry and what I am seeing is that Music & Video stores, Cooper, Toy and hobby stores Auto parts stores, Farm and Construction are at the top over the last 6 months. Now you can go and do your research to see what companies you want to take advantage of.
Remember to read your charts and they will be telling you when to get in and out of your trades.

Home Builder Stocks
The Dow Jones is getting off to a great year! On January 3rd 2012 the Dow opened at 12221.19 and today it is trading at 12614.44 which is a 393.25 point gain.
At the beginning of the year I started to see the home builders stock start to move and I went to stockcharts.com to look at TOL and KBH and saw that the charts were telling me to get into a trade. I went and looked at the option prices and there were cheap I pulled the trigger and jump in.
I have noticed that on Finviz the Industrial Goods have been the top sector for the last three months.
The stock in the biggest builders, which is tracked by the U.S. Home construction Index, has risen by more than 50% since the market bottom in September.
Since the crash of 2008 the Residential construction stocks have been beat down. Lots of trades make good money as they were falling. Now that they are rising the opportunity is here again in the Industrial Goods sector.
Before you just jump into a trade make sure that you are doing your research! Trust the charts they will tel you when you get in and out of trades.

Home With the Kids

Being home with the kids over Christmas was nice but I’m actually really glad I’m back to my real life. The schedule I usually keep got all messed up with them being home and now I’m able to go to the grocery store and the gym and watch my direct tv whenever I want which are, let’s be honest, the best parts of being a stay at home mom. I love that there are so many different things to keep me busy throughout the day but my family isn’t the one I like to work on the most…they’re pretty self sufficient on their own so it’s nice for me to be able to devote time to myself because I think that makes me a better mom and less of a control freakoverall. When I spend too much time with my kids I find myself really having trouble getting over tiny little things they do – I want to schedule every second of their days so I know they miss school, too!

Happy 2012 or will it be the end of the World
Over the last 6 months we have been hearing more and more about the world will end on December 21, 2012, and how that is end last date of the Mayan calendar. The Mayan calendar has been in place for 5,125 years and is about to end on December 21, 2012.
Here is my question is the world really going to end on December 21, 2012
I watched a program on CNBC regarding this topic. After I watched it I realized that people are acting out of fear that the end of the World will end. They also showed how people were buying into underground bunkers and above ground bunkers.
As 2012 goes on we will be seeing and hearing more about the end of the world. We will also see more and more websites selling food supplies and other supplies that will help you survive in the bunkers that you are buying.
What ever you think of 2012 make sure that you make the best of it. If you have goals that you have been putting off what I want you to do is start to take action on them. So that at the end of 2012 you will see that you have moved forward with your life.
