When you purchase this you get a to choose the colors that you want the board to be painted.  I painted my board black then I put on a red coat of paint let it dry.  Then we placed the vinyl on it and the last step is that you paint the top coat which I did a pink color.

Once it is dry then you peal off the vinyl and with sandpaper you sand the board to give it a unique look.

Chunky Beaded Watches

At the Begining of January I blogged about chunky beaded watches and my readers want to know how to make them.

In Utah I go to a bead place called The Bead Fairy.

You will want to purchase about 16 different beads and 8 small gold beads and 4 claps.

You will also want to go out and purchase Stretch Magic.  I got my from Hobby Lobby.

You can also purchase your watch face at Sara Wholesale.  If you buy more than one watch face then it makes the shipping cheaper.

You will cut your Stretch magic string bigger than your wrist.

String on a bead and then you will sting on a gold bead and you will do this on each side.

Then String on a clasp on each side and then another gold bead on each side.

Then start to string on your beads on each side.  I did two beads on each side then I put on a spacer then I put on three more beads on each side then a spacer.

Then small gold bead, clasp, small gold bead then the same bead that I started with, then small gold bead, clasp and then small gold bead.  Your done now you tie the string in a square knot.

You are finished and all you will need to do is to attach the face.

Now you know how to make these fun beaded watches.

Chunky Bracelet

Chunky beaded brackets are getting really popular.  I decided to make them for my two girls for Christmas.

I went to our local bead store called The Bead Fairy and purchased different colors of beads along with smaller silver beads.

Went to Hobby Lobby and bought Stretch Magic cord.

I measured out the magic cord to go around my wrist with a little extra then I started to string on the beads.  I put a small bead in between the bigger beads until I had enough to fit snug around my wrist then I tied it off with a square knot.

Every time my girls wear their chunky brackets they get a lot of complements.

Beaded Watches Bands

In Utah chunky beaded watches are really popular.   I have learned how to make them.  I made one for my two girls, my mother-in-law and myself. They are so easy to make and I enjoyed making them for my family.

I purchased the watch faces from Sara Wholesale, then went to Hobby Lobby to pick up the string.  I bought the beads at a bead store here in Utah.

I am looking forward to adding to my collection.
