Continue reading »]]> Every year I put the pressure on me to get my mother-in-Law a unique gift and I also try to do the same for my step mom Jeannette.  This year I am making a Recipe Plaque.

I went and bought the kit at Poppy Seed Projects.

Then I painted the board a green color

I used tissue paper to make a copy so that I could cut out my scrap book paper.

Then I cut out my scrapbook paper and glued it on the plaque.

I sanded down all around the board and trimmed the paper. Then I got wood glue and glued on the piece of metal.

Very last step is that I added the Vinyl and now you have a finished project.

Continue reading »]]> Last week the Dow Jones was up 4 out of the 5 days of trading. Netflex reported earnings and the stock dropped, so on Tuesday I decided to do a bull put spread on it. I made just a little over $400.00 on just 4 days. I am finally learning how to trade debit spreads on weekly options.

I just want to grow my account slowly so that I will have a nice egg nest by the time I retire.

This next week will be about one thing and that is Jobs Jobs and Jobs.

As earnings season enters its third week with more than 100 S&P 500 Index SPX +0.24% companies reporting — including Dow components Pfizer Inc. PFE +0.09% and Kraft Foods Inc. KFT +1.03% on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively — polled analysts and managers are turning their attention away from the corporate reports in favor of hard data, which they hope will provide a clearer view of the economy.

News that you will want to pay attention to is on Wednesday the ADP will report. Weekly Jobless claim on Thursday and April nonfarm-payrolls report and unemployment figures on Friday.

Lots of news to look forward to and always watch your charts they will be telling you when to get in or out of your trades.  I will be looking in getting into another debit trade.

Continue reading »]]> The week ending Friday 13, 2012 prove to be the worst performing in all of 2012.   The Dow Jones has fallen over 136 points.  The market just can not get above the 50 day moving average.

The market dropped due to the fact that China economy is slowing down more than expected.

Google reported earnings and was down 26.41 point today. In addition to announcing a two-for-one stock split, $10.7 billion in revenue for the quarter and a cash pile totaling nearly $50 billion, there was much talk of the value of clicks and developments in search. With 850,000 Android devices being activated each day, it’s easy to forget that advertising and clicks are Google’s primary businesses. However, Android plays an increasingly starring role in both.

Over the next few weeks the stocks are show how much volatility they can be as the companies release earnings.

Cut up 4 Potatoes

in a 9X13 greased baking dish

Cut up onions and Potatoes

Cut up 4 to 5 carrots and add to the pan

Add the Carrots

Next Cut up 4 stalks of celery and add to the pan.

Add the Celery

In a sauce pan you will add 1 can of Tomato Soup, 1 Can of Cream of mushroom soup and 1 can of water.

1/2 Teaspoon pepper, 1 Teaspoon salt, 1 Tablespoon Sugar and 2 Tablespoons of rice. Once it is all warmed up then pour over the vegetables in the baking dish.

Now you will want to crumble 2 pounds of uncooked hamburger over the top.

Crumble the raw hamburger over the top

Cover and bake in oven at 3.25 degrees for 3 to 5 hours.

Christians believe, according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.

One of my goals this year is to start to decorate my house with fun and simple projects.

I bought the frame from Poppy Seed Projects and then I painted it a turquoise and attached a picture that says Happy Easter!

I also purchased the Easter Sign and also painted it Turquoise Blue and added the Vinyl lettering to it.

I hope that you all think about what Easter represents to you.

They have Egg shaped bath bombs.  When I saw the egg shaped bath bomb I knew that this is what I was going to get my kids for Easter.

I know I have a lot to get done in the new house but it’s going to take some time. I love that there are so many different directions I could go with the décor but at the end of the day what I need to focus on is http://www.texaselectricityproviders.com/ energy plans and finding someone to sell me a lawnmower and looking for a great new granite guy to help me do the kitchen. I love my new house but it’s going to be an uphill battle – I bought this place knowing it was going to be a lot of work and you know, at the end of the day that’s what I’m going to put into it. Elbow grease is what this place needs and although it’s going to take me a while to figure out what I can give and what I need to hire out – some things just aren’t worth doing yourself if you can’t spend the time doing it! I can’t believe I’ve gotten so in over my head…

My parents have been trying to get my husband and I to move back to Texas for ages. We were high school sweethearts and moved away from home as soon as we had enough money saved. We have lived in California for five years, and we love it here. We enjoyed our time away, but we are ready to go back home and be near our families again. We want to start having kids, and we think it would be nice for us to have some help and a good support system. I haven’t told my parents yet because I don’t want them to be on my back about it. We’re trying to get things organized and find jobs before we move back, and I know it might take a while. While I was looking at houses online I came across texaselectricityproviders.com and realized we would be able to shop for our electricity when we finally get the chance to move. Considering one of us may have a job and the other won’t when we get there, that might be a big financial help if it saves us money on our monthly bill.

Continue reading »]]> Over the past few years Salt Lake City has been building a high end shopping center.  The project has been completed and Scott and I went down to see the results of the City Creek.

Normally he does not like to attend these types of grand opening but all the hipe got to him and we got in the car and drove to down town Salt Lake.
