I am so amazed how fast my Daughter McKayla has grown up. In June she will be 18 years old and on May 31st she will graduate from High School.
When I graduated from high school my Grandparents gave me a Ceder Chest. I Still have it to this day.
Then I got to thinking that McKayla is graduating and I wonder if my parents would get her Cedar Chest and my thoughts were correct.
My dad went up to where I grew up in Mink Creek and cut down the tree and had it made for her. My love for this Cedar Chest will mean more to me than to my daughter just of where the tree came from.
