I wanted to do something fun to give to the grandparent and and the Aunts and Uncles of McKayla for her graduation. I came up with making Whimsical Frames.
At Cutitout they have unfinished framed that you can purchase and finish with your own ideas. I purchased 5 frames and then I came up with a Vinyl Ideas and had my friend cut out the Vinyl for me.
We painted the frame an Ivory color.
Then I sanded all the edges.
Then I Put stain on the frames and used a cloth and rubbed it all off.
Then I added the vinyl to them.
When I applied the stain to the Whimsical Frames I used different colors and here are the results.
