Tomato plant disease

What do you do with Tomato plant disease?  Fist you have to determine what kind of disease your tomato plants have.

Fungal Disease

Virus borne disease

dealing with insects

or environmental problems

Over the past few weeks the weather in Utah has been nice and warm.  My tomato plants are loving the warmth of the sun and are growing nice.  Then I saw that my tomato plants had tomato’s on them and I was getting excited until I noticed the bottom of them were black.  I knew immediately that they needed calcium.

I ran down to IFA and bought some root blossom and sprayed on my tomatoes to give them the calcium that they needed. I also picked off all of my tomato’s that had this problem.  I was lucky that I only had one tomato plant that had this problem so far.

So over the next next few weeks I will add my egg shells to the plant where they will intake the water.

My poor tomato, just when I thought that I had this gardening down and, I now realize that gardening is a learning experience every year.
